Inspired by the fascinating history of patterns & textiles, this accordion book condenses these stories into a visual object. Using the complex process of monoprint with a screen, hand painting on all of the colorful textures, and then using photo emulsion on top for all of the text & illustrations.
Just Improvise is a cookbook that explores a variety of recipes through the lens of my love for cooking and woodblock-style illustration. With a limited range of bold colors paired with simplified black and white illustrations, Just Improvise creates a graphic take on the traditional cookbook.
